 2020 US CENSUS: RESPOND NOW

The U.S. Census is all about two things. Funding and Representation. Every one of North Hanover Citizens who remains uncounted is a missed opportunity. And every missed opportunity is a bonus for those living elsewhere. What you do, or fail to do, will impact our community and our state for the next ten years.

You may respond at the following link:  https://2020census.gov/

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the State of New Jersey has extended their fiscal year until September 30th.  As in previous years, this does not enable the Burlington County Tax Board to strike tax rates within the statutory timeline provided.  Therefore, the North Hanover Township Committee has directed the Tax Collector to issue an estimated third quarter billing.  This billing will be due August 1st with a 10 day grace period or by the close of business August 10th.  Postmark is not accepted.  You may view or pay your taxes online at https://wipp.edmundsassoc.com/Wipp/?wippid=0326.  Once rates are certified, you will be issued a reconciled fourth quarter billing, along with you February and May 2021 installments.
Recycling Pick-up: August 13
Joint Land Use Board Meeting:  August 26.
Given the current circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 health situation, when taking into consideration “social gathering” and “high risk” population, the Township Joint Land Use Board will conduct these meetings via
video conferencing by way of GoToMeeting online or conference call only until further notice.  Please be further advised that the meeting will be open to the public and that members of the public wishing to participate may do so by utilizing the links and information provided here.
