COUNTY OF BURLINGON

TOWNSHIP OF NORTH HANOVER

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF NORTH HANOVER, COUNTY OF BURLINGTON, STATE OF NEW JERSEY APPROPRIATING $150,000.00 FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND TO PROVIDE FOR VARIOUS CAPTIAL IMPROVEMENTS

BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Committee of the Township of North Hanover, in the County of Burlington, State of New Jersey, as follows:

SECTION 1. $150,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Capital Improvement Fund of the Township of North Hanover, in the County of Burlington, New Jersey (the “Township”) to provide for various capital improvements and accessory equipment therefor and incidental thereto as follows:

Police Vehicle Camera’s $ 10,000.00

Drainage Imp. and Engineering $ 40,000.00

Computer’s and related

Equipment $ 45,000.00

Municipal Building Flooring

and related equipment $ 20,000.00

Municipal Building Doors $ 20,000.00

Harley Rake $ 15,000.00

SECTION 2. Said acquisitions are lawful capital improvements of the Township having a period of usefulness of at least five (5) years. Said improvements and acquisitions shall be made as general improvements, no part of the cost of which shall be assessed against property specially benefited.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon final passage and publication according to law.

NOTICE

This Ordinance published herewith was introduced and passed upon first reading at the regular meeting of the Township Committee of the Township of North Hanover held on April 21, 2022. It will be further considered for final passage after a public hearing to be held on May 5, 2022 at the Municipal Building, 41 Schoolhouse Road, Jacobstown, NJ at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at which time and place any persons desire to be heard upon the same will be given an opportunity to be heard. Copies are available free of charge at the Municipal Clerk’s Office prior to the public hearing.

NOTICE

The ordinance read by title upon second reading herewith has been adopted at the meeting of the Mayor and Township Committee of North Hanover Township, held on May 5, 2022 and the 20-day period of limitation within which a suit, action or validity of such ordinance can be commenced, has begun to run from the date of the publication of this notice.
