Soliciting in North Hanover Township

The Township Committee and North Hanover Township Police Department are advising residents of the Solicitation Process in North Hanover Township. To be a licensed solicitor in North Hanover Township, individuals are to submit an application, payment, identification and submit to a police background check.

The hours to solicit in North Hanover Township are Monday-Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Licensees must have their licenses displayed at all times and comply with all other Township Ordinances. Valid licenses contain the licensee’s photograph, company information, license number, watermark of the Township Seal and live signature of the Municipal Clerk.

At this time, the Township does not have a “No-Knock” registration/ordinance in effect.
