CALL TO ORDER

meeting to order at 7:00 pm

this meeting has been transmitted by email to the Courier Times,
Burlington County Times and The Trenton Times as well as given to those
having requested same and posted on the Township bulletin board located
in the foyer of the municipal building”.
OATH OF OFFICE FOR TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE MEMBERS ELECT:
Township Clerk called for Committeeman Elect John Kocubinski to be sworn
into office. Mr. Mark
Roselli, Esquire administered the Oath of Office.

The Township Clerk called for nominations for Mayor 2019:

Roselli, Esquire. Everyone

Mayor DeBaecke stated with regards to Resolution 2019-27, that he did
reach out to Chesterfield Township for their consideration and had not
heard back yet.
Committeeman Kocubinski noted he was in receipt of Chesterfield
Township’s resolution.

JACOBSTOWN VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY
Mayor DeBaecke called forward members of the Jacobstown Volunteer Fire
Company to be sworn in. Mr.
Wayne Voorhees, former President JVFC/Notary, swore in various members
of the JVFC. Everyone
extended a round of applause.
Mayor DeBaecke thanked the members and wished Wayne good luck.
TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE COMMENT
Committeeman Kocubinski stated he was grateful for how well this
Township Committee operates together. He noted the Moody’s report and
noted its positivity. He
expressed appreciation for Mayor DeBaecke and Deputy Mayor O’Donnell for
their hard work. He looks
forward to continue the hard work.
He also wished everyone a healthy New Year.
Committeeman Doyle wished everyone a Happy New Year.
He thanked the Township Committee for working so well together in
a bi-partisan manner and stated other governing bodies could take a
lesson from it. He gave
special thanks to Mary Picariello and Alexandra DeGood for all their
hard work in the Municipal operation.
He noted the Police and Fire Departments are instrumental in the
Community and thanked them.
He also thanked Attorney Roselli for his hard work.
Committeeman DeLorenzo expressed the same sentiments of Committeeman
Doyle and wished everyone a Happy New Year.
Deputy Mayor O’Donnell also expressed the same sentiments of
Committeeman Doyle and noted he was appreciative of the current
Committee and was happy to serve.
He also expressed gratitude for the employees.
Mayor DeBaecke thanked everyone for attending this evening.
He congratulated Committeeman O’Donnell and Committeeman
Kocubinski on their re-election.
He expressed appreciation to the Township Committee for their
faith in him as Mayor. He
looks forward to working as a dedicated team.
He pledges to work closely with professional staff, employees and
volunteers. He noted 2018
had a lot of accomplishments.
He noted Provinceline Road, park improvements and new business.
He noted his commitment to pursuing new business.
He stated the solid financial rating from Moody’s is indicative
of the hard work. He
thanked the citizens of North Hanover for allowing him to serve.
