TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE “COMMENTS”

Committeeman Kocubinski noted baseball field issues. He suggested consideration to hire someone maybe in conjunction with the School. Mayor DeBaecke noted he had discussions with the Chair and something would be done. He stated it would have to be looked into and was grateful that the school allows our use of the fields. Committeeman Kocubinski noted there was a request to have a storage shed for the coaches. Mayor DeBaecke noted the storage shed needs to be cleaned out and was concerned the School would not allow it to be placed on the fields. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

Questions, comments or statements from members of the public in attendance.

Mayor DeBaecke opened the meeting to the public.

Mr. Pat Miller – 62 Defense Access Road - Mr. Miller inquired if the Township Committee would have an issue if his friend, Bill Allison, has the same type business he has. Clerk Picariello noted they would need to discuss with zoning first and if there were no issues they could move forward with a Mercantile license. Committeeman DeLorenzo inquired if Mr. Miller currently had a license and he stated yes. Clerk Picariello reviewed the Mercantile process.

Mr. Bill Allison – Juliustown – He stated he was currently operating a business in Juliustown. Mayor DeBaecke stated he would enjoy North Hanover.

Mr. Pat Miller then inquired about a letter he received regarding a trailer on his property. He stated he was not living in it. Clerk Picariello noted that was a Code Enforcement issue and should be addressed with that Department.
