Mayor DeBaecke called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m.

“The provisions of the Open Public Meetings Act have been met.
Notice of this meeting has been transmitted by email to the Courier
Post, Burlington County Times and The Trenton Times as well as given to
those having requested same and posted on the Township bulletin board
located in the foyer of the municipal building”.
NON-CONSENT AGENDA 2019-134 Resolution Appointing Municipal Court Judge

RESOLUTION APPOINTING MUNICIPAL
COURT JUDGE
FOR A THREE YEAR TERM
WHEREAS,
N.J.S.A. 2B:12-4
provides that each Judge of a Municipal Court shall serve for a term
of three years from the date of appointment; and
WHEREAS, the current
term of the North Hanover Municipal Courts Judge expires December 31,
2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED by the Township Committee of the Township of North Hanover,
County of Burlington, State of New Jersey that
Lewis Korngut
be and is hereby appointed and designated to serve as the
Municipal Court Judge for the Township of North Hanover Court for a
three year term effective January 1, 2020 until December 31, 2022 and/or
until her successor is appointed and qualified.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,
that the above position shall be compensated at $20,000.00
BE IT FUTHER RESOLVED that a
copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the following:

2019-135 Resolution Canceling Taxes
RESOLUTION 2019-135
TOWNSHIP OF NORTH HANOVER
COUNTY OF BURLINGTON
RESOLUTION CANCELING TAXES
WHEREAS,
the United States Department of Veteran Affairs has classified Matthew
Ignatovig as 100%
Permanently and Totally Disabled; and
WHERAS, by application from Donald Kosul, Tax Assessor in
the Township of North Hanover, the said exemption is granted from
October 1, 2019; and
WHERAS, N.J.S.A. 54:4-3.30a – Allows for the exemption
from taxation from real and personal property for any citizen and
resident of the State who has a total or 100% permanent disability as
defined by this statue.
WHEREAS, the following taxes must be canceled and any
monies paid by the owner should be refunded.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the following taxes be
canceled:
BLOCK 800 LOT 52.17
2019
$2,490.31
2020 1st half
$4,980.65
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER,
that a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Burlington County
Board of Taxation, the Treasurer of Burlington County, the
Municipal/Regional School Board to advise them of the action taken by
the Township Committee on this matter.
2019-136 Resolution Authorizing Refund of Overpayment of Taxes

COUNTY OF BURLINGTON
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REFUND OF OVERPAYMENT OF TAXES
BE IT RESOLVED,
by the Township Committee of the Township of North Hanover that, as
requested by the Tax Collector, it hereby authorizes a refund of
overpayment of 2019 taxes, in the amount of $653.92 to Corelogic Tax
Services, for Block 301 Lot 5.07 commonly known as 310
Jacobstown-Arneytown Road.
BE IT RESOLVED,
by the Township Committee of the Township of North Hanover that, as
requested by the Tax Collector, it hereby authorizes a refund of
overpayment of 2019 taxes, in the amount of $2,080.99 to Corelogic Tax
Services, for Block 608 Lot 13 commonly known as 490
Wrightstown-Sykesville Road.
2019-137 Resolution Authorizing Refund of Tax Sale Premium

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REFUND
OF TAX SALE PREMIUM
WHEREAS,
Tax Sale Certificate#19-00003 was redeemed on November 6, 2019; and
WHEREAS, RIVERLINE INVESTORS LLC, paid tax sale premium,
in the amount of $6,000.00, for said lien.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Committee of the
Township of North Hanover that, as requested by the Tax Collector, it
hereby authorizes a refund of tax sale premium, in the amount of
$6,000.00 to the RIVERLINE INVESTORS LLC ; for Lien 19-00003, Block 800
Lot 48.01qf, commonly known as Meany Road.
